Owen Alumni Databases

• All Owen alumni have access to the databases listed on the right side of this page.

• You are required to log in.

  Alumni from 2006 or later:
  Enter your OwenID and password.

  Alumni from 2005 or earlier:
  Username: first initial, last name and graduation year (example: jsmith1999)
  Password: last four digits of your SSN

• If you have trouble logging into an alumni database, please contact Owen Technology Productivity Services at (615) 322-2034.

Borrowing Books, etc.

To borrow materials from any Vanderbilt library, you will need a current Alumni ID card. Cards for alumni are issued by the Commodore Card Office. For more information, go to Card Office FAQ page and select "How and when can I obtain a Commodore Card?" You may also call the Card Office at (615) 322-2273.

At the Walker Management Library, alumni enjoy the following check-out privileges with a valid Alumni ID card:

• Books - 3 weeks
• Audio books - 2 weeks
• Career books - 28 days

Borrowing privileges vary at other Vanderbilt University libraries.

Databases

Vanderbilt alumni can use many of the University’s electronic databases and resources while on campus. Due to the database vendors license agreements, we can only offer remote database access to Owen alumni.

Alumni may contact the Walker Management Library's Business Information Service for additional research assistance. This service ranges from advice on where to look for information to in-depth research on your topic. Cost estimates and project scope are always discussed and agreed upon in advance.
